Youth Initiatives

The NZ Youth Section

New Ground is an initiative from the Youth Section, created to bring together young people aged 17–35 from across New Zealand to connect and explore anthroposophy. At the center of this initiative is New Ground, an annual festival; a vibrant weekend of learning, sharing ideas, and engaging in meaningful discussions.

But New Ground is more than just a festival. It’s a platform for ongoing collaboration, where connections made during the event can grow and continue throughout the year.

If you’d like to connect or be part of co-creating this space, visit the Youth Section website and join the movement.

Exploring Being Human

New Ground is our annual gathering of the Youth Section at the Tauranga Waldorf School. This space is intended for anyone who’s young (aged 17-35) and interested in anthroposophy, and is a chance to gather with other young people from New Zealand and connect over the course of a full weekend.

From March 6th to 8th 2026, we will meet in Tauranga for the weekend to share food, learn new things and connect over this rich body of work called anthroposophy.

Your ticket includes food for the entire event, camping, and all all the exciting activities planned. We’d love to see you there! Please follow the link below to book your tickets.
