Conversations in Colour
Dear community, I would love to invite you to a special memorial exhibition and art auction celebrating the life and artwork of my mum, Christine Moginie.
Art was such a big part of Mum’s life. Each piece she created was made with immense intention, care, and love. Since her passing last year, we’ve been holding onto many of her original artworks, along with pieces from her personal collection, and now it feels like the right time to let them find new homes where they can continue to be loved and appreciated.
We will be holding a small exhibition at the Mangawhai Artists Gallery in New Zealand on the 5th & 6th of June, as well as an online auction via Facebook, where artworks will be shared and auctioned in a simple and accessible way.
It means so much to share her work in this way. My deepest hope is that these pieces find homes where they will be truly seen, cherished, and enjoyed for years to come. If something speaks to you, you’re warmly invited to offer what you can. More than anything, it matters that her art continues to live on in the hearts and spaces of others.
You can follow the auction and exhibition updates here:

All funds raised will go toward a special education fund for her grandson, Arlo, supporting his future Steiner education — something Mum cared deeply about and truly wished for him.
Thank you for spreading the word, and for helping us honour Mum and keep her work alive in this meaningful way.
With love,
Bella
(Christine’s daughter)
