‘Leadership shows up as an expression of the “I” in purposeful action.
The more authentic and self-directed these actions are, the more leaderful the
engagements become. However, the “I” can only truly know itself in relation to
other human beings and entities. Leadership therefore, emerges in a continuous
interrelationship of itself and others within a constantly changing world. In this
contribution we intend to explore how leaderful engagement may be a powerful
instrument with which to enhance leadership capacities in all those striving to
serve a common purpose.’
