Curative

Anthroposophical curative work is carried out by a number of organisations as well as individual practitioners.

Anthroposophical Curative Education is a holistic professional activity integrating elements of care, education, therapeutic and creative activities in the work with children with complex needs. Curative Education acknowledges the importance of relationships and social interaction in promoting healthy development in children. Social Therapy (for adults) is about creating social situations that enable people to have maximum independence and self-determination. Hohepa Trust works in this area with three locations in New Zealand. Click here for further information.

Eurythmy Therapy  enters the realm of medicine and is applied in a specific way. It is practised by a qualified eurythmist, in conjunction with an anthroposophical doctor, and provides healing assistance.

Artistic Therapy also works with the threefold human nature indicated by Rudolf Steiner. A variety of artistic means can be employed for healing the individual with the guidance of a fully trained practitioner.
