Annual Conference

The annual conference of the Anthroposophical Society in New Zealand will take place from 4th-7th July 2008 at Michael Park School in Ellerslie, Auckland.
The theme is The Spiritual Impulse of Anthroposophy and The Foundation Stone and the guest speaker will be Sergei Prokofieff, a member of the Executive at the Goetheanum. He will deliver three lectures at the conference and they are:
The esoteric significance of the anthroposophical work in the groups
The mystery of Golgotha and the spiritual communion
Why do we become a member of the first class?
This will be followed by a Class Conference from 7th-9th July when he will deliver a further two lectures on The Christological background of the way through the 19 class lessons. Further details of the conference programme will be available in future issues of Sphere and on this site.
Sergei will then leave for Christchurch where a South Island Anthroposophical Conference will take place on 12th-13thJuly. He will give a further three lectures. On the 12th, the two lectures: The Mystery of Golgotha and the spiritual communion and Why do we become a member of the first class? will be open to all members and friends, but the Sunday lecture entitled, The Christological background of the way through the 19 class lessons is for members of the School of Spiritual Science.
